COMIC BOOK CHARACTER DESIGN (AGES 8-12)
Jordan Gibson (Go Go Power Rangers) and Jerry Bennett (Oklahoma Kaiju) will demonstrate and offer great tips in designing your own comic book characters, in both the writing and the drawing!
STUDIO 2
DRAWING DYNAMIC ANATOMY! (AGES 12-18)
Join John Eric Osborn (We Promised Utopia, Hiro Doggie: Space Corgi) as he discusses how to render anatomy in comics and gives attendees techniques and opportunity to apply it in this informative workshop.

Y’ALL STAR COMICS! TALKING WITH OKLAHOMA COMIC PROS
Natasha Alterici (Heathen, Godzilla), James Hostler (The Bobcat) and Dan O’Donoghue (Based on a Conversation) discuss the challenges and joys of creating comics inside our borders with moderator Matthew Price!

Come find out what it takes to break into mainstream comics, or simply have a successful career in comics, from Isaac Goodhart (Catwoman: Under the Moon, Victor and Nora: A Gotham Love Story), Gavin Guidry (Action Comics, Uncanny X-Men) and Jeff Parker (Batman-Santa Claus: Silent Knight, Zootopia), moderated by Brian Winkeler (Garbage Pail Kids)!

Join Heidi Arnhold (Cottons), Andy Hirsch (Science Comics, Good Boy) and Oklahoman Mike Anderson (He-Man, Spy Ninjas) as they discuss with moderator Jerry Bennett (Glamorella's Daughter) making graphic novels for the kid-lit ages, the challenges, and how they worked their foot into the door.

Gabriel Hardman (Green Lantern: Earth One), Robert Wilson IV (Heartthrob) and moderator Brian Winkeler (Knuckleheads: Fist Contact) share wisdom from their careers in comics and their favorite and not-so-favorite parts of the process of making them.

Natasha Alterici (Heathen, Godzilla) and author and Literati Press Publisher Charles J. Martin (Glamorella’s Daughter, Hiro Doggie: Space Corgi) will discuss with moderator Matthew Price the wide-open paths to publishing your comics and graphic novels and help you discover which one is right for you.

MAKING MANGA!
Manga creator Ogawa Burukku (FaLLEN) will give you a special look at what makes manga special and unique to the comics format and will include special demonstrations on the manga process. BONUS: One lucky participant will be able to win a Japanese manga starter kit!

Join author Jeff Provine (Okie Comics, Haunted Oklahoma) as he guides you in the understanding and process of how to make a four-panel comic!
